Hello crafty friends! It's been a bit of a hot minute since I've blogged last...life has been a bit "extra" lately. Zoey's been in the thick of completing her college applications and looking for scholarship opportunities. I've been preparing for a presentation that will be coming up early December for work. And we've all been trying to keep up with all the stuff that the holidays bring! I've been scrapbooking...I just haven't been good about sharing all of my projects in all of the places so please forgive me a bit as I attempt to play catch-up.
This first layout uses the Feelin' Frosty collection from Simple Stories...it's oh so cute don't you think? I absolutely love the color scheme of this collection! I really can't wait to play with it some more.
It's fresh and fun and perfect for snowy photos.
This little snowman is the cutest!
I printed my journaling onto some vellum paper and then adhered it over a tag so that it looks like I typed right on to the tag. A super easy yet fun little trick!
For my next layout I used the Make It Merry collection (again from Simple Stories). It provides a much more classic Christmas feel but with some striking black and white thrown in.
I kept this layout pretty simple and opted to use one of the double photo chipboard frames.
If you look at the first layout that I posted you'll be able to see that I used the same layout "sketch" if you will for this page. I just changed some minor things like slight photo placement and scattered elements a bit differently on the page. Sometimes it's fun to see how different layouts can look using similar sketch plans!
