I told you that I loved the Simple Vintage Country Harvest collection! Popping on this evening to share another layout that I used creating with this goodness!
I had fun with this layout. I knew that I wanted to use this amazing cut file that was a freebie on the Scrapbook & Cards Today blog after seeing a beautiful page that was created using it by Lisa Dickinson (which can be seen here). I started working on this page this morning and by the time noon came around I was still trying to cut this dang file out! My Silhouette machine was being incredibly difficult! It still isn't cutting out Bazzill cardstock completely...this even after I switched out the blade and adjusted the cut depth to 10!! I ended up switching out my cardstock to Close to My Heart cardstock and it finally cut through the paper completely. I'm not sure what's up but I will fight this battle another day.
I added some simple stitching around the cut file...thought it added a little texture and will double as adhesive to keep things stuck down as well.
All of the plain colored papers that I used to fill the leaves, berries, etc. are papers from the Simple Vintage Country Harvest 12x12 Basics Kit.
