Zoey's first Kindergarten Parent/Teacher conferences were last night...I have to say that it would be hard to top just how proud of this little girl I was last night while we were all sitting there together with her teacher sitting across from us in her classroom. She's pretty darn super-duper! Super happy parents of one (okay, I just have to say "super" once more!) super happy little girl! The neatest thing I think was that the day prior to her conference Zoey's teacher saw me in the hall and said (with much enthusiasm) that she was so excited for our conference, that she just couldn't wait...and due to her amount of enthusiasm I was a bit nervous about what it was exactly that she was so excited about sharing...or, what did Zoey do that showed she is directly from my genetic lines of dorkydom? =) Alas, her secret is safe for a bit longer it seems...her teacher was genuinely excited about sharing what achievements Zoey's been making in school thus far. One more time, super proud of this little girl!
