Marks Paper Company English Garden : Altered Frame
7.18.2009
Thought I'd quick share this altered frame that I created using some of the patterned papers from Marks Paper Company's English Garden Collection. My friend and co-worker Patty gave me this frame awhile back and I thought I'd play around with it this afternoon. I love how it turned out and love even more how simple of a project it was!
Supplies: Patterned Papers from English Garden Collection (# 1015 Lavender + # 1017 Lawn), English Garden Die-Cut Paper Patch (flower) Jenni Bowlin Crepe Ribbon, Creative Cafe Pearl Accents, Bazzill cardstock, Misc: frame
Project Instructions: Adhere patterned paper to frame and cut around the frame and the area where the picture will go using a craft knife. Sand any edges that are rough. Cut a strip of contrasting patterned paper, in this case the green dot (Lawn) paper and mat it with a strip of white cardstock that is slightly wider than the patterned paper. Adhere this to your frame and add some crepe ribbon, pearls and your floral paper patch die-cut (I used 3-dimensional adhesive for the flower).
