Cards 4 a Cause
4.01.2009
I am so happy to share this special class with you as it is supporting a cause that is very near and dear to my heart. About a month ago the owner of my lss asked me if I would want to teach a class and have 100% of the proceeds go towards Parkinson's Disease research and I just about jumped for joy and of course said yes! Her mother was diagnosed with this disease and about three years ago or so my own father was diagnosed with Parkinson's, hence the sentiments that I have attached to the idea of doing something to support this cause. It's even sweeter yet because Marks Paper Company donated the papers to our store especially for this class...really a great company to be working for.
Pictured above are the cards that will be offered in the class. The techniques involved will be: hand-cutting designs from patterned paper, doodling with a white pigment pen, stamping, embossing w/embossing powder, and using a paper distressor.
I am really excited about this! Thank you Marks Paper Company for donating the papers for this!
