A Winter Garden

Nothing Gold Can Stay
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down today.
Nothing gold can stay. -Robert Frost
For as long as I can remember my father has been planting and tending to something. Whether it has been trees, flowers, or little garden plots, it's a memory of him that I will carry with me forever. His intent yet relaxed way with this very organic relationship is something that I've admired as a child and now appreciate even more as an adult.
Hope to get pictures of this space again next Spring.
