Peppermint Dreams!

Thought I'd share some fun layouts that I created using the December Kit Peppermint Dreams, from Scrapbook Circle this month! Super fun color combinations in this kit that are perfect for classic holiday pages and even some fun alternatives to the norm (love that there is some pink thrown in here and there in this kit!). I've really been trying to make more of an effort to create more two pagers here and there lately, this one was especially fun since I had an enlarged photo of Zoey and her "Snow Bear." For my journaling on this one I just wrote what I wanted to say on to cardstock and then cut into strips before adhering it to my layout.


In the layout above I went ahead and used a blurry photo of Zoey playing...thought it was alright as it genuinely captured the excitement of Christmas morning last year. Also, for my journaling block I used one of Heidi Swapp's die-cuts and then zig-zag stitched around the block to make it stand out a bit more and to add interest since it's white on white.


I have so many random photos from last year's holiday...in this layout I went ahead and compiled a little collage of random ones capturing a bit of what it is that I love most about Christmas day!
