Creative Imaginations - Art Warehouse, Candles + Cake Collection

Since Zoey's 5th birthday is on it's way I was thinking that perhaps I had better get caught up on scrapping photos from her past birthday celebrations! These photos are from her 3rd birthday celebration here at home. It seems like we have so many celebrations with her...our family's, some special time with friends and then of course time celebrating with the grandparents!



The Candles + Cake Collection by Art Warehouse was a fun and bright choice of papers for these photos I thought.



TIP: Cropping photos is good! Really! These photos were kind of "oh-hum" in my opinion because past Zoey's shoulder you could see a big pile of shoes that we keep by the kitchen door...I think I hadn't attempted to scrap these photos for just this reason. Then last night, while sitting down I decided to just crop the photos down as best as I could and see what happened. For the larger photo that I didn't crop down, you can see that I strategically placed a circle, journaling sticker over the spot where the shoes were visible. I ended up being really happy with how the layout turned out and I'm glad that I didn't just tuck these photos away in a box.
