Birthday Party Invitations

Birthday Invitations

Someone's got a birthday coming up pretty soon and we've been planning for a fun outdoor birthday celebration this year. Thinking that the theme will stem from fairies and lend itself to all outdoor animals and nature-y themed things. After all, if you've read the book Fairy Houses by Tracy Kane you know that fairies respect all living things that are living in the woods and that their spirits actually reside in butterflies (hence the use of that Cuttlebug butterfly die yet again!). The invites are done and are pretty simple ones this year, but they are bright and fun and perfect for a summer party I think.

Supplies: Stampin' Up, kraft cardstock; American Crafts, pp; Bazzill, white cardstock; Creative Imaginations, Creative Cafe buttons; Heidi Grace Designs, stamps; Colorbox, ink, Cuttlebug + Cuttlebug die

Beautiful invites! I love the butterflies and the contrast of the bright colors against the kraft.

I love these invitations and would have liked to feature them on my blog as inspiration for the invites I plan to make for my daughters birthday. Even if I can't use a picture of them I will incorporate a link in my post for them.
