in order to talk on the phone I had to just smile and let this happen. Chocolate pudding all over her face. Her chest. Hands, arms, even managed to get on her legs and of course...socks? Smeared all over the table too. I remember reading somewhere that children that are allowed to make messes actually turn out to be more intelligent than those that are made to be kept prim and proper...hopefully that turns out to have at least the smallest of grains of truth attached to it. If so, we'll be just fine.

I've been super busy with creating things for this summer's CHA trade show for Creative Imaginations and am so excited to share my projects and will do so when I can. There is some pretty fabulous stuff being sent my way to play with. It's been a frenzy of paper and glue the past week or so but at the end of each day I still manage to think to myself how lucky it is that I get to be busy doing something that I absolutely love and I couldn't be happier. Creative Imaginations is an awesome company to work for! I've been blessed.

As far as I know they are still deciding...there were so many fantastic entries (yours and Nat's being among my very favorites) I imagine it will be hard to choose the winner's.

I wish I was going to CHA this year Bobbi! Just busy making things for it this time around though!

Miss you guys too...I'll have to pop in more often and chat. Thanks for the kind words! =)

She is too cute! and I know how it is, sometimes you just have to let things go to get some mommy time. :)

I'm sure your projects are beautiful--I can't wait to see pics of them (as well as all the new CI goodies!).

Did you really read that somewhere...that kids who are allowed to make messes become more intelligent? Holy Guacamole! My boys are going to be GENUISES.. That is all they do during the day is "create" messes and, of course, whenever I try to clean up they tell me I am "messing up" their creations.

I think that idea is going to be my new homeschooling philosophy :)
